I've never met a lawyer, how does it work?

You have questions, you're experiencing difficulties or you've received a summons to appear before the Court, so you've decided to make an appointment with a lawyer.

While you're waiting for that appointment, you're wondering how things are going to work out.

Don't panic: at your first appointment, your lawyer will ask you to tell him why you've come to see him. If you don't know where to start, don't worry, your lawyer will be able to ask you the questions you need to help you unfold your situation.

During this appointment, the lawyer will explain what can be done in your case and what the next steps are

The lawyer will propose a fee. Naturally, you are free not to accept them.

This first appointment does not commit you to anything.

At the end of this meeting, you will receive a fee agreement to sign if you wish to entrust the case to the lawyer.

The lawyer will tell you which documents are required for your case.

You will be kept informed throughout the process. I never send any document without your prior approval. I also send you all the elements I receive in your file so that you are always informed of what is happening in your case.
